Creative Visual Storytelling

As Seen Through our eyes

A two-part documentary explores the housing crisis in Cornwall through the lives of fishing families whose connection to the coast spans generations. As second homes and short-term lets reshape seaside towns, local fishermen are increasingly unable to afford to live near the harbours where they work. Alongside this, the film reflects on the wider pressures facing the fishing industry today, and how housing, work, and identity are deeply intertwined. Through personal stories and everyday moments, it asks what it means to lose access to place, community, and cultural heritage in the very landscapes that depend on them.
